The Animaniacs show ended with a direct to VHS movie called Wakko’s wish that tells the story of one family’s journey to make their dreams come true. The story is told in true Animaniacs fashion and all your favorite characters make an appearance. Do you want Pinky and the Brain? You’ve got ’em. How about Buttons and Mindy? They’re here too. Even Minerva Mink has a cameo role. The movie served as the capstone for the entire series. Taking place in the town of Acme Falls in an nondescript medieval country, our heroes Yakko and Wakko journey to find the wishing star so they can help their sister Dot get the operation she so desperately needs. Hijinks ensue, of course.
